The Recovery Grove Collection

Growing a Life You Don’t Want to Escape

The Recovery Grove Collection is a developing series of educational and reflective publications designed to support recovery, personal growth, and meaningful life changes.

Built around our Eight Trails curriculum, these materials combine accessible recovery education, practical exercises, guided reflection, and opportunities for creative exploration.

Our goal is to create resources that are substantial enough for structured educational programs while remaining approachable for individuals exploring recovery independently.

Participant Workbook

The Participant Workbook is the foundation of The Recovery Grove curriculum.

Organized into eight interconnected Trails, the workbook guides participants through educational concepts, personal reflection, and practical activities intended to support self-awareness, resilience, connection, and continued growth.

The workbook is designed for individual learning and facilitated educational groups. It emphasizes participant choice, diverse recovery pathways, and the understanding that meaningful change develops over time.

Publication status: In development.

Companion Journal

A Space for Reflection and Discovery

The Companion Journal is being developed as a flexible space for personal reflection, creative expression, and ongoing exploration.

Designed to complement the Participant Workbook, the journal will offer opportunities to explore thoughts, experiences, goals, and personal insights without requiring a prescribed approach to journaling.

It is intended to support reflection during the Eight Trails program and beyond.

Publication status: In development.

Facilitator Guide

Supporting Meaningful Group Learning

The Facilitator Guide is being developed for individuals and organizations interested in delivering The Recovery Grove curriculum in a structured educational setting.

It is intended to provide guidance for planning sessions, introducing educational concepts, facilitating discussions, supporting participant choice, and navigating group activities with care.

The guide emphasizes trauma-informed practices, accessibility, respectful facilitation, and recognition of diverse recovery experiences.

Publication status: In development.

Future Availability

The Recovery Grove Collection is currently being prepared for publication.

As materials are finalized, this page will provide information about available editions, purchasing options, and access to supporting resources.

We also hope to explore affordable options for community organizations, peer-support programs, and other groups interested in incorporating The Recovery Grove into their educational offerings.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We believe meaningful recovery education should be accessible to people with different needs, experiences, and financial circumstances.

As The Recovery Grove develops, we intend to balance the costs of creating and maintaining quality educational materials with opportunities to provide free resources and affordable learning options.

Any revenue generated through publications will be directed toward supporting the continued development and sustainability of The Recovery Grove initiative.
